Mahle pistons in 03/04 Cobra are good for 600rwhp+ how much HP you planning on pushing?

You need to worry about the crank, rods and pistons. That's why it's much easier to just get a cobra shortblock.

They aren't the strongest Pistons in the world in stock form, but they should do you just fine. Most idiots that hate them are the same idiots that tried racing while in 6th gear.
That being said, I wouldn't trust a Cobra shortblock too much. You never know what kind of abuse they may have endured. I would buy one and re-use everything but the pistons. Get some CP or Diamond pistons installed and have a very stout combo.

You're closing in on the 700hp+/- @ the crank mark then. For that, shop and research, look for a reputable engine builder nearby or even talk to John Tymensky over at modularperformance.com There's a lot of good builders out there. JDM has a forged stroker shortblock w/aluminum block block for $2999 too!

Be careful. The first one listed is 8.5:1 cr. The second is an iron block (80lbs additional weight) assembled at MMR. Where I got my brandy new iron, forged block that had the bad wrist pin in less than 3k. Just saying!

If it was me I'd go with the Ford Aluminator one.

Our block is aluminum why not throw a stroker kit at it and slap a blower on it??

The problem with cobra pistons is that they are 8.5:1 compression, but they are good for many miles 650rwhp.
Do not go with 8.5:1 as it results in low hp and tq. Go no less than 9.5, even for FI combos.
