Has anyone driven the MT ET Street Radial II on the street?
The track is 70 miles away of which 60 miles is interstate. I was thinking of driving to the track with the MT ETs.

HEY! Let me know how those are! Those are the exact tires I'm looking at buying and may have to drive them 40 miles to my track! I have heard good things about them, but, can't personally answer your question.
I have them and they drive good Billy.

I drove them once in the rain, couldn't go over 40mph or the car would get loose.
*edit : Nevermind. I was thinking of the MT Drag Radial.

They track good. Just be soft on the gas if it is wet out! Seems like we had 18 pounds of air in them at the track. I have been in the rain with them and the car was ok but I stayed very light footed. I went 11.66 on these and had some traction issues. We only tried them at the track once and made two runs before it started raining.

Are there any fairly cheap wheels that the MT's can be mounted on for the Marauder?

Obviously, others said what I was thinking for your safety--that in wetness--its not what you want---ok --we're all adults here--and get the picture--....and I realize you know that and got it--but keep us posted just the same on what you do.........Thanks--Tom

That sure is a beautiful tire!
What's the biggest difference between these and the original MT's?
The tread pattern looks the same. Are these a different compound?

They making them 305/45/18. I have the regular et streets and love them. On 20lbs the car still spins on the street but with a little heat in them 20mph punch the car just goes.

sorry for highjacking your thread, I have the MT and drive on them to and from the track. Other than the tires picking up every rock in the road :P the ride is pretty good. I can feel a slightly more sidewall flex vs my nitto's but it's all good, I say do it:2thumbs:.
