While driving I get a bumping/vibration or shifting feeling only in between 35 and 45mph. The other morning this happen and my lights actually cut off and back on. My tires are ok. I check my exhast and didn't see anything. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

I think you have two issues. One causing the bumping...shifting feeling could be the torue convertor locking and unlocking. The shift solenoid could be sticking or bad. The lights going off is probably the LCM.

It's dont think it's the lcm. It happen as soon as the car shifts (or bump alot). The wierd shifting doesn't occur everytime just sometimes maybe for a split second or a good 10 seconds.

If it helps I have 4.10's installed and a tune.

Could be a loose connection(s) at the LCM... there are 3 of them.

I assume your tune takes into account the 4.10's?

I had the LCM problem fixed last year, but could the LCM cause a problem with driving/shifting?

When, if ever, has the tranny fluid been changed?

Ok... I also see a little black crud on the inside of the rim.

No, I actually was about to do that at the end of the month.

How many miles?

Did you buy the Marauder new or used?

If used assume the tranny has never been serviced unless you have service records.

If you bought it new and have never changed the tranny fluid... shame on you.

Have the fluid changed and make sure you drop the pan and replace the filter.

ONLY use Mercon V fluid. Don't let anyone put a different fluid in and an additive and say it's equal to Mercon V. It will not need anything except Mercon V.

I brought it used. It just hit 110,000 miles

Then assume the tranny fluid has never been changed.

Remember... ONLY use Mercon V fluid.

Which rim? You might not want to drive it until you rule out a bad axle bearing. If there is wetness on either of the rear rims be careful!

Probably bad axel bearing or seal.

Probably bad axel bearing or seal.
So would that make the car shift/shake crazy?

So would that make the car shift/shake crazy?

Not unless the bearing fell apart and the axle is about to come out.
