View Full Version : Eaton Swap parts getting rare?

Curious if anyone would know if any of the parts for an eaton swap would be the most urgent to buy first?

Like our cars, are any of these parts getting harder to come by?

The hardest part for me was the bolts for the supercharger, intake and intercooler. You can still by them new from Ford but they are not cheap. Everything else was pretty easy. You need to be quick because the deals don't last long. I bought 75 percent of it on svtperfomance.com the rest on this site and chicagosvt. I found eBay to be to expensive. Good luck.

Big +1 on that. Found out the hard way, you snooze, you lose.

Hardest item for me was finding the water cooling manifold for the intercooler. Small part, but hard to find. As for the bolts, yep, best bet is to just suck it up and buy new ones from Ford, less hassle, even if they are spendy.

The item most folks (me included) go for first is the M112. IMO, this should be one of the last items as they're pretty easy to find.
