Well guys, I traded my MM in. I was presented with a really good deal on a 2011 Taurus (not the SHO, an SEL) and could not pass it up. They did have a SHO for sale but it was not on the lot and they had it parked in the back. It was out of our price range so I didn't even waste my time looking at it. It was a rough day for all involved, Me mostly. The wife was happy as sin that the MM was going. She was really tired of the MM. I am impressed with the Taurus though. No hesitation when you hit the gas it goes, super comfortable interior, awesome on gas. I do miss the sound of the MM and am already wondering if what a flowmaster would sound like on the Taurus V6.

I'll miss the MM but not the upkeep or the cost of gas. Hope I'm still allowed to hang around here.. :)

I'll be posting up my K&N CAI, trunk organizer, Underdrive pulleys, and possibly a set of floor mats for sale.

Belleville IL is about 20 minutes east of St. Louis MO. I already received a PM about the trunk organizer and he's got first DIBS. I'm not even sure what they go for so I have to do some research.

Don't do Flowmaster. The 3.5L V6 has an exotic sound to it, look into Magnaflow, Corsa or Borla (if you want throaty).

I'll be going with a Jone Full Boar straight-thru muffler (single inlet/dual outlet) on my 08 Taurus.

Check this thread out. A 2010 owner put on a SHO take-off factory exhaust and the SHO lower bumper valance (bumper extension).

I did take my TEAM PANTHER decals off the MM and put them on the new Taurus. The amount of room inside the Taurus is great, I have the seat all the ay back and the wife can sit back there with the baby and still has leg room and all sorts of room around the car seat. The trunk is cavernous, at least a 5 body trunk on the Mafia scale.

I thought you had 2 MARAUDERs? Regardless, enjoy the new ride!

We did. The Wife traded hers in when we had to spend $3500 to get the valves redone on it. Had it back for about a month and the heat went out. We got her a Fusion.

Don't be a stranger Brother Hack. Good luck with the new ride. It certainly makes sense to me with a growing family and the cost of fuel. Mine sits most of the time because of the cost of 93. It just went under $4 a gallon here last week. I drive my Evil Orb most of the time. Lets see, 18+/- mpg or 34 mpg ansd uses 87...

I keep looking at a new 2010 MKS Turbo for under $40k.
I'm tempted especially with 130,000 miles on the Marauder.

I think I'd wait a couple years. They are supposed to be coming out with major redesigns & new models soon.

Well guys, I traded my MM in. and am already wondering if what a flowmaster would sound like on the Taurus V6.

Don't even think of putting loud mufflers on the Taurus. The benefit of the car is its quiet. If you want loud, save up for another MM sometime on down the road & have at it!

Sorry to hear you are selling. You are always welcome with the St Louis MM crowd. I'll take the floor mats, just pm me how much. Best regards to both of you.

I have the 2010 MK-S GTDi. You will love it. Really quiet and quick. It parks itself, but I am chicken to try it.

Hey Hack!
SORRY to see you have to sell the last of your MMs...too bad someone here couldn't have bought her off your hands; BUT we all understand those Trade-In Opportunities when they come along you DON'T have much time to decide and execute! BEST of luck w/ the new Ford Ride and don't be a stranger on here! (Glad to see ALL those parts you wanted to sell at least seem to be spoken for!)

Take care!
