WOW!! is all I can report. Choice of black and orange bags with God's head, decals, flag for window, CD, LED flashlights, t-shirts with icons of all our site visits in the shape of green mile markers, and much more!

Also, the hotel is great. What a breakfast ... eggs, home fries, sausages as thick as hot dogs, pancakes, pastries, bottled juices, fresh cut fruit and coffee.

When can I register for MV-10?!?

Yes, I would have to agree how well everything is planned. It's very difficult to do what has been done here...words alone are not enough...so I will be giving out kisses to those on the planning committee who are willing.

Ummmmm... Hershey kisses... what did you all think I was talking about?

If it looks easy and moves along smoothly, then we have done our job. Glad you guys noticed.
We figured that if you guys are dedicated to making the trek out to our event, we should be dedicated to making the experience as easy and worth your time.

The weather however....... :censor::censor::mad2:

Don't sweat the weather man! Just meeting up with old friends and making even more is all I came for. Of course, carring the DR's, tools, spare axle, and so on all over the place makes for quite the junk in the trunk.. :)

As Paul said before, all of you made the extraordinary effort it took to be here and support this event with your precious time and money and we were committed to holding up our part of the bargain! BTW it doesn't hurt that my teammates on the Planning Committee are the best of the best!!:D

Been a little tied up for the past 5 days. Looks like I am a little late to this party ... but I will chip in my KUDOs to the Planning Team as well. This was truly one fantastic event from start to finish. From my arrival on Wednesday afternoon to departure on Sunday, MV9 was a first class event all the way down the line.

It takes alot of very hard work to make it look so easy. Bernie and I had a great time. Every event was memorable. The Banquet at the Hollywood Casino was absolutely spectacular .... what a real capstone event for a terrific Marauderville IX (MV9).

Thanks to the planning team that made it all happen ... time to kick back and relax now.

Great job Paul & Voula, Jack & Connie, Gordon & Chris, and Paula & Eric.

First off-

Thanks to the planning team that made it all happen ... time to kick back and relax now for everyone....

Great job Paul & Voula, Jack & Connie, Gordon & Chris, and Paula & Eric.

There is no one place to start--but to say ---WOW!--Ms M and I are so glad we made it to #9 this year . Everywhere I turned --there was an answer from the "staff"- and Ms M and I truly enjoyed it all--everyone was so enjoyable to be around and share each others experiences since we last met and surprises for those first meetings of folks as well.

We both tried to meet as many of you all that came --and we hope we made contact --but if not--hopefully next year--I commend all those who had any involvement with this years event--I could go on it seems forever--but you get the picture--

and oh yeah........thanks again to my good friend Paul..--it looks so pretty when I got it HOME!--Thanks are not enough!--more later --its late --

It's been 2 weeks since Marauderville IX (MV9) and I just haven't come down from the "high" of the events of 12-16 October. Some people save up for a European vacation or a trip to Hawaii or maybe even a Caribbean Cruise; but I wouldn't trade the Marauderville experience for any of that.

Not enough can be said of the attention to detail that the MV9 planners exercised in pulling off a well-coordinated and organized event from start to finish. A Tip of my Hat to Paul and Voula, Gordon and Chris, Jack and Connie, and Paula and Eric for all the hard work that made this "First Class" event a memorable experience not to be missed. I hope the Planning Team had as much fun and enjoyment out of this as my wife and I did.

It is kinda hard to describe the Marauder/Marauderville experience; but in 61 years, I have never .... ever run into a group of people that I would rather hang with and have fun with than the gang from MM.Net. Some have said that it is like "Family"; but IMHO, it is actually "better" than family.

Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that buying a car 8 years ago would lead to such a relationship with probably the BEST car club that ever was and maybe ever will be.

Thanks again MM.Net for making this experience possible and Thanks Again to the MV9 Planning Team for making the memory of a lifetime. :2thumbs:

^^^ What the lady said! ^^^

I was a pleasure being a part of the planning and participation!

It's funny.... I was cleaning some paper work at home over the weekend and I can across all my "MV9 Notes". The napkin that I had written ideas on on the way home from Charlotte/MV8, print out of prelim places to visit, a prelim itinerary for Thursday, our hotel rating cards from our 1st scouting visit and a few other notes.

I too still haven't come off the high and I get excited when someone revives an MV9 thread :D. I'm still biting my nails waiting for Big Dogs video
