Make sure there is NOT 2 gaskets! The oil filter comes with one and you need to make sure that the old one did not stay on when you take the old oil filter off. Make sure the filter is on tight. If it the oil filter adapter block, check the bolts. You can get a new gasket for that, but, you need to drain the coolant before you take that block off.

Motorcraft filters frequently separate from the gaskets when being removed. It's happened to me more than once

Check for 2 gaskets! NO 2 gaskets!!! 1 gasket on oil filter. Then check to see if it's on tight.

There is also a gasket on the oil filter adapter, if that goes then your oil can be as low as 2 quarts and you will want to replace this asap!

Yeah, but, my suspicion is maybe just not even tight enough considering it only started leaking 2 weeks after he changed the filter...

If we guess right, will you take us for power slides in the Arabian desert with AKs??? :D

Did you put any oil on the oil filter gasket before installing the oil filter?

I have over 100 psi and never had a leak.

Make sure that you did not leave the gasket from the old oil filter on the oil filter mount on the engine.

Two oil filter gaskets are not good.

There is a gasket between the oil filter mount and engine. That gasket may be leaking.

Easy to replace.

This happened to me once.
I found out that a wire slipped between the oil filter gasket and the filter housing.
