My drivers side rear end has a 3 finger gap between tire and wheel well but my passenger side barely has a 2 finger gap? Any thoughts?

mine is the opposite, i've posted about this and the guys will tell you it's a old question. it's just something to live with as long as it don't cause driving issues

Only thought that comes to mind is one side seats higher than the other. lol

If drivers side sits higher it should even out when you sit down.

Also, my rear end sits lower than my front end. I had my ride height sensor replaced about 1 year ago and I think the mech who worked on it never set it back to stock ride height. How do I fix this?

Get a 10mm wrench, get under the rear end and adjust the sensor.

I've searched, but I can't seem to find a decent "how to" on that procedure.

I just gave you the short version.

Here's the long version:

Turn off the air suspension
Jack up the rear of the car
Use jack stands
You see the ride height sensor
Loosen the 10mm nut
Slide it to the right or left
Tighten nut
Lower car
Turn the air suspension
Turn the key on
See how it looks

Will that adjust the ride height of my car when its off as well? I seem to remember that my car used to have a really aggressive stance when it was off due to the rear end being higher than the front end.

Unless you have an air leak in the system the stance will be the same with the car running or not after you adjust it.

Some leakage over time is to be expected.

Alrighty then. I just raised up all the way to see how it looked. What is the general consensus on ride height for performance/comfort? I can't take it for a spin right now because I'm home alone with my daughter.

Check my list of mods (below) as my tires are slightly different than the stockers.

Later, I will post a pic of what mine looks like now. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it...lol I guess it's really going to depend on the ride.

Ford spec for ride height differentiation is 1/2" front, 3/4 rear.
A front spring difference can be reflected in rear ride height. I understand that the left spring is different from the right to accomodate for driver but that may be a myth because the parts catalog doesnt quite confirm this.
If a bag is leaking spray it with soapy water and look for slight white foaming.

My ride height is maxed to the right (highest) and the ride is 100% better! as for this accomodate the driver thing, thats just not true.

But then again i had to raise it to clear my sticky mickeys!

I agree, the ride is smoother, quieter, and the appearance is much more aggressive. However, I feel I lost a little bit of highway speed control (75-90). I may drop the front a bit and lower the rear a bit to keep the overall sraggered height. This weekend jist got a new project.

Be careful when loosening that 10mm...mine sheared off, and I wasn't even using heavy pressure to break it loose.
