Im doing a project and i need some help. I need to find a wire that becomes active whenever my car door is opened. I cant splice a wire to a light because i need for it to be an instant on/off circuit. As you all know, our lights slowly fade away so that wont work. Can someone who is familiar with our wiring and locations help me out a bit? Thanx.
P.S. I will post the mod when i get it right.

DOOR TRIGGER DARK BLUE (-) and BLACK/ORANGE (-) Use both, See NOTE #5 @ LCM Module, See NOTE #2

NOTE #2: the LCM (Lighting Control Module) is located to the right of the steering column.
You can get to the harness of the LCM between the steering column and the
LCM Module.

NOTE #5: when connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use both DOOR TRIGGER wires and
DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagrams/extrainfo/diagrams/11701_Crown-Victoria_(-)%20NEGATIVE%20DOOR%20PIN%20IS OLATION%20CIRCUIT.pdf
