Does your blower make any sound at idle?
Mine almost sounds like a centri only quieter at idle.

So yours didn't make noise?
I read they would be noisier but I have nothing to compare it to.
And I am traveling 1000 miles in it this Thursday, I just don't want to break it.

I have a posi port and yes it is a bit louder. Here is a vid I had after I changed my alternator bracket pulley bearing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpE0diWmEsw&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Ours sounds like a centri when driving it a little bit.

My wife's Cobra.

I've seen this before. If you adjust your idle down just a pinch, it should help remedy the centri sound or at least quiet it up a little.

Actually I don't mind the noise, just wanted to make sure it was normal.
