Narrowed MM wheels on the front?

So who had the car at MV9 with the narrowed MM wheels on the front? I forgot to look at the person's screen name. Might have been Shermanator? Totally caught my eye and makes the car look more like a dragster. The car overall looked pretty sick!

Thats Sherman. Chris put those same rims on a Supercoupe and they looked like they belonged there.

Totally caught my eye and makes the car look more like a dragster. The car overall looked pretty sick!That car IS pretty sick...I saw Chris and Sherm working on it at the show at AACA and they were changing the street 20 lb pulley for the track 24 lb pulley. :eek:

Anyone got the specs? I imagine 18x5. Those 26x6-18 Mickey Thompson tires seem to work nicely on a 5" rim. The 26x8-18 may work on a 6" rim.

I just talked to james over at weldcraft a couple weeks ago, and he was about to ship a narrowed set of mm oem wheels out, dont know if it was anyone here

Yes 5" wide. I recommend running a bead of silicone over the weld before you install the tires.;) It is a very big weld.
