While detailing this Sunday one tooth of my badgeless grill fell out.:bigcry:
Anybody know what type of glue is used on the mod?

I used JB Quick Weld and had the same problem....perhaps there is a more aggressive plastic glue??

I think the whole key is it must be WATERPROOF so you might look around for something that likes the Marine environment Gary!!;)

What about like a glue gun? The ones you plug in that take the glue sticks?

I'd use a 5-minute epoxy.

Think of it as your car losing its first baby tooth. Or it got in a fight. Or its just getting old.

I picked up a item called Plastic weld from my local parts store when my tooth got knocked out. Did the repair 2 years ago and they haven't moved since.

I had a couple get knocked out when I forgot to put in the "winter grille" (the original) and was scraping ice. I tried a couple of different ones that didn't hold well, but did finally find a good one. I'll try to dig it up and give you the name, but I think it was the same one Blackened300a mentioned...it was a 2-part thing.

I just found an adhesive I bought for work.
3M Automix 05883 Plastic repair.
Looks like it will work.

The stuff I have is a 2 part epoxy, $60 for the kit.
I bought it for one of my many boat repairs.
It's back together, If it's still on the car when I wake up in Kennesaw Ga Saturday it's good enough.
