i was wondering how thick the inserts are because i have an idea to put a clear material like plastic or something in there and add red led's so when i hit the brakes the "marauder" lights up. I already have led's in mind but dont know what kinda clear material i could use???

The way I'd do it is cut out the recessed portion of the letters, affix some red Plexiglass or Lexan to the rear of the bumper covering the letters, then mount your red LEDs.
If the bumpers were less expensive and readily available I'd have this done.

Good luck on finding that spare bumper, you're prolly gonna pay that much for a new one (if you can find it), used are very hard to come by.

You may want to PM Peter, he had a couple bumper covers, IIRC.
