Does anyone know where I can find that blue coating that was on the ECM board. This was the blue stuff we had to clean off before we installed our DR chips. Since we do not have chips anymore I would like to re-coat this area.
Thanks for Your Help!

What you are looking for is called <a href='http://www.dowcorning.com/applications/product_finder/pf_details.asp?l1=009&pg=00000027&prod=01592424&type=PROD'>"Conformal Coating"</a>. It's used to shock proof and water/corrosion proof electronics.
It usually comes in green or red. Blue indicates a certain temperature range. Best plave to find it would be an electronics supplier, FAI Active or similar store. There are a few online places you can get it, such as:

Bill, that was an excellent question...I'd like some of that stuff, too, since I no longer have a chip...and Dr. Caleb, thanks for the answer and the links!

There is no need to do this it will not cause any problems, and it will not help if any one from Ford looks because the metal door was removed from the cover.

^^^What he said^^^
No need to do this, there is no covering up now, and the pins will be fine without any coating.

I just bought a spare EEC and used that cover, if they see the door is in place they will probably not look any further
