I searched this site and found a thread, but kinda went into a dead end w/o solution. Searched for TSBs as well, same result. Saw something about dealer replace under warranty, but I have 79K on mine and don't know if it would qualify.

Noticed I have water/condensation on inside of passenger side headlight since driving up (in the rain) to PA for MV9; none on driver's side.

Took pics before I washed it this afternoon....but am having issues posting. NBD, as I'm sure most everyone knows what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't mind searching more, just very tired...having to get up at 5 in the morning this week for work sucks after not having to get up that early in a looong time, and I'm feelin' it today. Just glad I had enough energy to wash my MM...

Thanks for your help....going to bed. :sleepy:

Remove the headlights, check the big rubber cover and the grommet for the bulb wires. Those are the only two ways for moisture to get into the headlights.

Remove all the grommets, dump out as much moisture as possible, then use a hairdryer on low heat to get out the remaining moisture.

Do not touch the sliver / reflector inside the housing. If you do you will damage it.

TIP: You'll notice that is a PIA to get the headlight assemblies out. You have to remove all 3 screws on each side. You drop at least one putting them back in..... My tip..... cut the headlight mounting tabs as in the picture. If you have to take out the headlights again you can just loosen the screws instead of removing them.

Mine did that at MV9 last week. Wasn't too bad. Went away after a few hours in the sun. I haven't driven mine in the rain in many years and I think it did it once before. I guess after 3 days of driving in non-stop rain it was bound to happen. :)
