It started about 3weeks ago with a very hard shift from 1st to 2nd and then the last couple days its started to idle really high from 1st to 2nd and from there its shifts normal. It does it 50% of the time now. Within the last 2 months I have had a trans fuild and filter flush done at dealership with correct fuild (MV) and had no problems with shifts points. I have replaced the rears with nitto's nt05 (295/45/18). I have read it could be due to the colder weather and dia change with rear tires. Here's the link to a video I took today.

Sounds like a servo pack maybe on its way out or frictions and steels. Did you compensate for the new tire diameter with a hand held tuner?

I see your ABS light is on, did that come on right after you changed out the rear tires? May be traction control issues from improper tire sizes.

No, I didnt compensate for the new tire diameter with a hand held tuner and the ABS light came on well before the issues started.

Don't think it is the rear tire size, the 295/45/18 works out to about 28.45 inches tall and nearly identical to the 28.61 inch OEM 245/55/18 BFGs. Well within the size ratio needed. Should be OK assuming he is still running the 235/50/18s up front.
Maybe a bad ABS sensor is the culprit.

I think you should fix the abs light first then re- evaluate your problem.

Could also be a tune issue?

Could also be a tune issue?
Don't see how since the tune has nothing to do with the ABS system.

I had it scanned when ABS light 1st came and the scanner didnt detect any problem with ABS (strange I know, I wouldnt haved believed it myself if I wasn' there). Will look into ABS issue further once car is resting this winter, but 1st things 1st the shift issue.

Check the ABS sensors at each wheel. There have been reports of the bolts that secures the sensors either loosen or backout.

As posted... clean the MAF, throttle body, IAC and reset the PCM. That will most likely fix your problem.

I modified my tune on the xcal 3 to limit the shift point down, and my car would not shift into 2nd at the new lowered limit..it would just hesitate. Something to do with the z-man's tune being set higher would still over-ride the newly set limit.

Took the car up to Lidio's for inspection today, was advised 2nd gear is shot. Lidio will be rebuilding and beefing up my trans. :( trans is shot and now more $$$, but going  because it will come back stronger than ever.
