Some of the locals can figure out if there is a TK close enough.
I just had my 1st experience with one in Kennesaw.
Hooters doesn't hold a candle to it.

Well, I unfortunately have to take a seat on the fence about going now...not my doing; my decision is being influenced by the AF. Glad I'm retiring...I'm tired of 20+ years of making sacrifices (both big and small). I know it's probably the same on the 'outside', but it seems to me there's more logic/reasoning behind it than inside the military circle.

We are in the middle of an exercise this week, and it's supposed to wrap up this weekend. I've been on the night shift all week (with the exception of today...another 'sacrifice' I have to endure and it would take another 4 paragraphs to explain it...basically I can't have two days off during an exercise, even though I will be putting in around 50hrs this week when Sunday morning rolls around even if I did have two days off, so I had to come in today and sit around and do nothing for 4 hours) and I will be working 12hr night shifts this weekend.

I really need to start having yard sales to get rid of stuff I won't need/don't want to take with me when I move at the end of this year. I was hoping to have my first one this weekend but that will most likely not happen, unless I don't have to come in until midnight or later Friday night.

The only weekend I have available to have a yard sale in November is the first weekend. I will be visiting my kids the 2nd weekend, retirement ceremony the 3rd weekend, then Thanksgiving weekend.

Lastly, if I do go to SSHS, I probably won't make it out there until Saturday afternoon. I personally don't like driving 4hrs two days in a row (unless it involves seeing my kids), and I'll be spending lots of time on the road for the remaining 3 weekends in November.

Lastly, lastly....$$$. $100 in gas + room + food + booze....the first half of the month is the worst half for me, money-wise. I've already got $$$ comitted for 4" tips, and am trying to scrape up enough to get a set of fastblackmerc's door sills. After I move up to NC, I know my fundage will be miniscule, so I'm trying to get the more expensive things I want for my MM now while I can.

Believe me, I really want to go! Hopefully I can figure something out within the next week that will allow me to 'have it all'.

I'm certain something will happen during the next 7 days that will piss me off and put me in "F***** it" mode and I'll end up going anyway...
