Hello,
I just found the sight and wondered if any of you could help me. I recently purchased a 64 Marauder Monterey 4 dr hardtop and need some parts. If anyone can help with some parts suppliers or with acquiring a parts interchange list I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for a front windshield, and any help with working on a 390. I found pictures of things that I would like to do but everytime I email someone I never get a reply(like finding out what size wheels and rims I can eventually upgrade to). Locally everyone seems to drive chevy's (which all they can do is put down a ford) so no help there. I am a FF so I am on a strict budget. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the Machine!
kirk, has quite a bit of knowledge pertaining to the vintage Marauders.
Maybe he'll chime in, or you can shoot him a PM.
Good luck!
Mike.

Welcome to the site.
There are usually large numbers of parts on eBay.
The parts from the '63 - '65 Ford Galaxie, Mercury Montclair, Monterey and Park Lane may work as they all share a common platform.
Thanks for saving the old stuff!
Good Luck!

Call Green Sales Company. Also try partsvoice and parts international.

As stated above, most of the mechanical parts are shared with the Galaxie. Some of the body parts are shared with the '63 Merc. I have a very few used parts for a '64. Be glad to help any way I can. Nice to see another "old" Marauder on the site.

fordmuscleforum is a great source for mechanical advice and tips.
I needed an exhaust manifold for my Galaxie.
One of the members had both sides, and gave them to me for the price of shipping.
Good crew.

Chassis and body wise the '65 was a totally new design, other driveline parts virtually nothing will interchange with the earlier models...

Thanks for the Info. So far I have been to the sites mentioned. I appreciate all the info. My first concern is finding a windshield as my front glass is in bad shape. I have found quotes of $4-500(including shipping), but if anyone out there knows a less expensive rout please let me know. The car is in great shape considering. I need to replace some small things like, dome light cover, some new tail light covers, maybe a wheel cover. What I would eventually like to do to the 390:
1. Replace the intake manifold with a lighter aluminum 4 barrel intake
2. of course a 4b 750cfm carb.
3. Electronic dist.
4. electronic ignition
5. new more open air cleaner
I am eventually going to want to sport up the look(it is a 4d hardtop) with bigger wheels. Does anyone have pics of their rides and maybe the wheel sizes they chose so I can get some ideas?
Again thanks for the help. I will definitely pay it forward when I meet a merc person next.

Good luck finding parts for your '64. I got taillight lenses from Green Sales once but I sent them back as they were repros and didn't have the Ford logo on them. I did get the real thing from another vendor that's no longer in business. Autokrafters, Dennis Carpenter or Donahue should have the dome light lens. I have pictures of my '64 in a gallery on here.
