Dennis,

Thanks for getting the sawybar to me so fast!

Can anyone tell me the tourqe specs for mounting the rear sway bar? How much should I tighten down on the bushings?

I need to get a shop manual. Is there a good one on CD? What do most of you use??? Can anyone tell me the best place to pick one up and what the cost is?

Thanks,
Jeff

Opps in the awe and amazement when looking the sway-bar over I miss the fact that there are directions :)

I am still interested in the shop manual if anyone has info on one.

My Ford manual says 15 Ft-Lbs for rear bolts on sway bars is correct.
Don't forget to lube the rubber.

This one??? WOW that’s expensive

2003 Crown Victoria Grand Marquis and Marauder Workshop Manual
Price: $136.00 In Stock
(English, Paper, FCS1219103)

What type of lube should I use? Do I put it on everything or just the main bushings?

I used Castrol bearing grease,... just on the mating surface of the bushings.

$136? hmm,.. It's gone up a bit. I believe I paid $124 for mine. Yeah, it's a bit pricey. It's the only manual available right now (to my knowledge)

It really is worth every penny. I use mine quite often and there's just nothing better than knowing you're doing a job the right way with all the right torque specs, etc. If you love your car and plan on having it a while then I think it's well worth the money.

Ditto what Horseman said regarding the manual.
