You gonna do your own tuning or do you plan on getting a canned or dyno tune? Just curious.

I dont know yet. I want to put in 4:10 gears so I will probably use a canned tune

U can get an Xcal3 from vendors here(Lidio or Dennis Reinhart). They come with tunes for your certain needs.

This may be a stupid question but I have never updated a car through a computer tuner. I have owned many muscle cars and have worked on them but this is something totally new to me.

If I buy an Xcal 2 used, does it need to be one made for a ford? mercury? or marauder?

Does it matter what car model it was made for or can I just reprogram it with marauder tunes?
