You have the SCT X3? You need to download some software from their site or load it from the cd first.

Do you have the disk/software that came with it? SCT stopped supporting the X2. You may want to see if someone here or the tuner has the sct device uploding software archived somewhere if you don't have it.

Yup. You need the device driver for Windows and the SCT device updater program. Device updater will load the custom tune and update the device's firmware rev. You can save your stock MM tune too.
Tommy, it's an Xcal2. No support from SCT... The big fiasco a couple years back...

Yup, I just got my computer driven by DR and he downloaded the program from SCT's website. So SCT is still supporting the XCal2.

I recently downloaded an emailed tune on to my X2 after downloading from the Advantage III link on SCT Support under X2. I had reformatted my hard drive so the need to download the X2 Advantage III.
