Wideband question

Is anybody running a wideband gauge with stock exhaust? If so where did you weld the bung? The directions say pre-cat at least 18 inches from the exhaust port. That impossible with the stock exhaust. There isn't 18 inches between the exhaust ports and the first cat.

It'll be fine in front of the first cat. Ford put an O2 up there already and it's fine.
