I noticed that each of door have two rectangular ports at the bottom of each door, i also noticed some have plastic covers on them, my question is ,Do all of the ports suppse to have covers and mine fell out over time?
The BIG reason i ask is that my drivers side front door does not have any covders on the ports and my carpet on that side is soak and wet,:alone:

Those are weep holes in the doors for water to drain.

Pull the tape off that cover the holes.

We all have.

Take off the covers so any water can drain out.

Since those weep holes are outside the weatherstrip they have nothing to do with your wet carpet.

There is two rubber plugs in the floor on each side right in front of the seats. Pull the sill plate and the kick panel so you can lift the carpet to inspect. Total time = under 2 minutes.
