Is there a reliable source for rebuilt EATC units?
The one in my Crown Vic needs to be replaced.

The blower fan is intermittent. The control doesn't work properly. Can't adjust speed. Sometimes comes on full, sometimes not at all.

You may have a problem with the contacts inside the EATC, or the BCM may be on it's way out.

The blower fan is intermittent. Next time it won't come on, try tapping the BCM with a screwdriver or a socket wrench extension...if it comes on, it's the BCM...fairly common problem and relatively inexpensive. Also PM SCCHeesehead if he doesn't chime in...he had intermittent problems with his blower fan, too.

Yeah, I replaced the BCM but the problem was the circuit board in the EATC. Bought a couple of used EATCs (not easy to find, let me tell you... tip of the hat to RoyLPita and Merc), did some parts swapping, ended up with two good units out of the three.

And yes, I had the O-rings replaced in the one that's in the car now.;)
