Alright folks, I have been reading up here and there over the last week on what the cause of only cool air blowing through defrost, and floor vents even with the temp set at 90.
Today I finally had time to mess with the car, and topped off my crossover tube with coolant and burped the system..(I am furious at stripping the crossover tube's stupid 1/4'' drive cap..and scratching the hell out of it since I had to use vice grips to get it off..) All of that and my car still only blows cold air.
Anyone else had a similar experience? I found a thread here that solved the problem after burping the system, but mine doesn't seem to be the problem.
I am going to top the crossover tube again tomorrow morning and re-burp the system, as I realize I may not have gotten all of the air out in one shot but is there anything else I should check? Thanks.

Sounds to me like FastBlackMerc might have a remedy for you;)......

Was the nose of the car elevated when you filled the crossover? Also whats the temp gauge reading? With the car at normal temp, feel the heater hoses to make sure you have coolant flow back there. IF all that checks out then you are looking at a blend door issue. Try the self test of holding FLOOR and OFF together then press AUTO within 2 seconds. That will start the test and will work the doors. See if that frees it up or flashes a code.
FBM EATC repair is mostly to get the vents to blow out when you get a vacuum leak and it only blows out the defrost. The blend door is electric.

Thanks man. Yes the car was on the driveway, which is on an upwards slant. The temp gauge always goes to the 20, has never over-heated or risen above normal.
I checked the hoses on the left side of the motor, there are two bigger black hoses going towards the passenger side dash from the front, and they both seemed to be rather cold, is that normal? Maybe I'm not checking the right ones?

Those should be hot with coolant with the engine at normal temp. Might still be some air in the system or blockage. Have you had the coolant flushed out at all?
I assume you are checking the 2 smaller hoses that go into the firewall on the passenger side and not the big AC lines towards the front of the engine?

Did you recently open the cooling system before this happened? If not, sounds like a stuck open thermostat to me.

Ok so yeah the hoses going to the passenger dash were located and are hot at normal engine temp.
I tried the test, but my car doesn't do anything when I hold floor and off, and press auto while holding the two other buttons. What should I expect when I press it?
Also, I have never flushed it out, I was going to about a month ago but never got around to it. I did however open the reservoir cap to inspect the coolant some time ago but never did anything else, just capped it and got going.
Bob does this still sound like the thermostat?

No. It sounds like something is up with the blend door.

Bingo Bob.. for the hell of it I went outside and tried the diagnostics with the car off but with ignition in ON position and it worked. It gave me 024 025 as DTCs...
B1249 024 022 Blend door short
025 Blend door failure GO to DTC B1249.
Looks like I'll have an annoying repair sometime soon. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I believe I'm having a similar issue as well except I've noticed that my temp gauge will spike momemtarily and then eventually go back to normal. I'm still getting heat, but it takes about 10 to 15 mins before it gets hot. I was leaning along the lines of a thermostat issue, but maybe one of you knows for sure.
