Car has 104k. I am in the process of replacing my upper control arms because the ball joints are going out (well, the upper ball joints are good but the boots are tore up like a night on the town with lindsay lohan...so its a matter of time before they go). Talking with a suspension shop and they recommended to replace the lower ball joints at the same time. I don't think my lower ball joints are bad. Couple questions:

1.) should i replace the lower ball joints at this time?

2.) if so, are the moog lower ball joints already greased from the get-go, or do I have to insert the grease?

thanks.

while you have it apart replace upper and lower, moog parts are the BEST!

As for grease i always put some synthetic lube in after the install

I'd replace all the ball joints, they've all had the same wear-n-tear.

Moog is the best.

Most aftermarket parts will have grease fittings on them. Grease them after the install.

I grease all my fittings at every oil change, 5k miles.
