air ride shot

my air ride crapped out on me and now in search of replacement. will probably do the bags as well as compressor and dryer kit up front. any kits that will handle a little better? or anyone here using a kit they would reccommend? thanls guys. project number three for me before winter hits! sucks.

my air ride crapped out on me.Can you be a little more specific? It's doubtful every part in the entire RAS gave out at the same time...I thought I had major problems with Phoebe and it turned out to be the ride-height sensor was bad...simple inexpensive fix.

came out to car and squating on the tires. had to limp it home. checked all relays and ride height sensors and they were good. checked the compressor and can hear system open but just never pumped. put air into bags and has lost just a little so with 110k on the clock I figured a good time to add the new compressor and bags while in there. plus car sits lower on driver side so hopeful that is from small leak and it will get better after the new bags and solenoids.

but if you have other ideas, my ears are open. thanks.

has anyone tried suncoe for air ride replacement? also is the marauder system different from the stock grand Marquis or the same? thanks guys.

The bulk of the system is that same as all other Panthers of the same vintage. The bags themselves are a little stiffer than the base airbags but are the same as the CV and GM HPP and TC Limo bags.

So happy you made this thread. My car sits lower than normal Marauders in the back, was wonder what I could do to get the back to normal stock height? Sorry wasn't able to answer you question though.
