I'm thinking 2 of these were definetley rolled. Cheap parts for the right price.

How much would you guys pay for the DTR Marauder "if " you were gonna buy it to part it out? I may bid on it if i can get it for about 1200 bucks or less.

I'd go 2-3 grand. Interior looks good, back bumper looks un-smashed, it was pobably running when it happened so the engine should be okay. Strip it, make money. Or strip it, keep parts as spares. Back bumper alone is worth a couple grand these days, yeah?
I may scope out the one in D.C.

I may scope out the one in D.C. Thats a bit out of my price range with the holidays fast approaching. I'll bid it up to 1200. Maybe i'll get lucky. The sun has to shine on a dogs ass one day.

Maybe someone near you will go half-sies on it? I'd definatley give 1200 for it for the bumper and seats if it was closer to me. You near that salvage yard? I wonder if they would let you pre-auction inspect it. Has anyone bid on a co-part car and won it? If someone had time and money to burn, co-part would be better than e-bay for Marauder stuff. Just buy the whole damn car, strip it at your leisure, sell parts of it if you want. If I lived on some decent acerage or had a giant garage or giant barn I'd be bidding on these like crazy.

These cars never go for less than 3k on copart, even if the only thing left of them is the license plate screws.

Just wondering, as at least 2 of these are under salvage titles, how many are left now, I don't remember where to find the graph that a member here made.

If you are member you can do a pre-inspection at least at most there yards. Have a salvage lisc for state of missouri which you have to have here to be a copart member. bought many a cars there over the years. Good place

I'm only about an hour from where the DTR one is in Tampa. I would keep the interior (atleast the fronts) for myself and part the rest. I'm gonna have a go at it and see how it works out. There are atleast 5 grand or more worth of parts there that are salvagable. We shall see.

Ditto on Dark Cloud03 / Copart does not give cars away , they have a buddy system with certain insurance companies [ ROAD AGENTS ! ] Clean books though [ info from family repo man]
