Hard to believe it's been a year since ImpalaSlayer completed my Eaton swap.

Absolutely love it, and IMO, going S/C is THE best mod you can do to your car.
Thanks again, Dave, the car's still running great, and I get complements every time I open the hood. My absolute favorite is, "I didn't know those things came with superchargers..." :D

Yup, that's an Eaton swap off a Mustang Cobra.
Actually, the Trilogy uses an Eaton blower as well, but that's an MP112 IIRC, the one off the Cobra's an M112.
Biggest difference in the plenum and location of the TB and air intake tube.
Trilogy uses a rear-mounted plenum that routes over the top of the blower to the stock intake position.

The Eaton swap locates everything to the passenger side.

What the difference in price ?
Lots!!!!
My Eaton swap cost me about $4,000 plus a dyno tune for another $450.
I called Trilogy about ordering the Trilogy SC kit and IIRC, I was quoted $7,500+/- shipped.
I took that extra cash and bought Wilwood brakes, Addco swaybars, shorty headers, and spoiler. I also bought some nicer and new items versus using a used part on my Eaton swap.

The Trilogy is a ready to install kit with all new parts included.
The Cobra Eaton swap requires tracking down and purchasing a combination of used Cobra parts from an '03 or '04 Cobra Terminator, plus picking up some new stuff (brackets), and modifying some existing stuff (coolant COT).
Like Joe said, the big difference is the price: $7K+ for the Trilogy versus $3,000 to $4,500 for the Eaton swap (depending on what kind of deal you can find on parts).
Both perform about the same, will generate 400 to 450 RWHP, depending on the blower pulley combination used.

So your saying they don't make the 03 cobra eaton supercharger any more you can only find it used?

No. You can buy a new one, used or rebuilt M112.

You could prolly order new parts through Ford, but the total cost would no doubt exceed the cost of a Trilogy; that's the reason for going the used route.
Example: a new M112 will set you back a grand or more, used ones are going for around $300.
The Eaton swap route is a great way to go if you're patient and enjoy hunting for parts. It took me about a year to get everything needed, but I had a blast doing it, and learned a heck of a lot about supercharging our cars in the process.

Nope, not without a lot of time, effort, and money.
If you want to do an Eaton swap on a MM, the parts have to be off an '03 or '04 Mustang Cobra. Parts from a 5.4L aren't bolt on.

Good deal, will give you a chance to start saving up for the Eaton swap in the mean time.
Plan on around $4,000 for the parts, and then budget another $1,000 for the installation and dyno tune, unless you plan on doing the installation yourself.
