Just went to body shop to get my rear cover repaired. They'll do it but don't like it. Any cover hiding out there. Will pay shipping from the 48.

covers are obsolete from ford now, i just did this same post thing a month ago. theres a website that sells re-furbished ones for ~$700 i think....and new "china" oem replacements for about 100 bucks cheaper.

Back to a dead end. Southeast bumpers is out. They referred me to car parts wholesale. They are out too.

DOH! Hopefully they can repair what I have.

I guess I fab a metal one. :rock: Could get some of the weight back by setting it up to directly connect to the bumper pillars.

Curious, have an idea..Would a regular Crown Vic rear bumper cover fit? All the body lines and seams etc..I'm pretty certain it is the same, except for the embossed MARAUDER. Someone will correct me if i am wrong on that

I know it would be almost sacreligious, but couldn't a CV cover be used, painted and then have an airbrush artist airbrush MARAUDER on it? I bet the general public would never know..A good artist could get the 3D effect, shading maybe even make it look like it has the inlays of stainless, red, etc.

GM/CV bumpers will probably "fit" but their design is quite different.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone try to pull it off with the SS inserts and whatnot though...

The upper inward lip on ours is not as defined, and the lower buldge is on ours goes all the way across instead of just on the side
