OK ..a bit of info ...when I arrived at MV9 at the Hotel...Doomie was there --waiting ..for what I am not sure--but I think I know now---it was raining--but under the cover of the Hotel canopy----he said--"I want to see it for real" --I said --"what"--he says-" That grill of yours--I have pics of it in my abode"--so I obliged--of course-- Ms. M goes--"What are you doing"??--can't you see we need to get into the Hotel" ??--( A women thing)-- I had to hep him out --right!!

I checked today with my parts manager and he says there are lots of Black MM grills at the Ontario wearhouse......
I have a new one still in the box along with many spare parts that may be discontinued.....,shifter, bezel cover for shifter,floor mats,rear lights...etc......

And I just opened the box just for pics. Already packed it back up and put it away.

Ms. D will be on #3 soon. I kept the original and will be getting the Bambi addition back after the repairs. #1 is missing a tooth so I can fix it with #2 or make #1 badgeless....decisions, decisions:hmmm:

According to Ray the dealer. There aren't anymore "SB" grilles available at all! They are obsolete! :depress: :shake:

I was also told the overhead consoles are no longer available either!

I lost a tooth in my first grille and not really sure why. Bambi took out my second one. So I have my fingers crossed about number 3! They are definately at risk for serious damage with just normal driving.

Because the OEM GRILLES come with the mercury emblem.

Just the same.......if your in need ,, that's a price to consider---a lot of members have said they have the emblems from various causes and situations--so they too are probably out there ----just trying to inform --so yeah they may be a lower source--but then again--a source if looking for a grille for many purposes..
