While my car was under construction for a month, my battery took a nosedive. When I replaced it my back up cam froze on a still image of my house on a nice sunny day. Although a nice image, this does nothing for me when backing down my tight 100' plus driveway at night... So far I have reset the pioneer, disconnected the battery a few times and fondled every button I could find. Any suggestions before I call Pioneer? Thanks.

Specs: Avic F700BT

Most likely there is a reset button on the deck, usually small, probably behind the screen if you have a tilt out screen, unmarked and about the size that a paper clip or the tip of a ball point pen will fit, find it, push it in and hold it for a few and that should do it.

Thanks for the help, but that is what I meant by reseting it. Done it several times now with no luck.

Have you tried disconnecting the camera from the unit, as well as power to both the camera and the deck?

The camera feed to deck, yes. But not power to both, besides the battery disconnect.

E here. The only thing I can think of is if a cable was disconnected and it's holding an old image. Is everything snug and plug?

How about disconecting the battery, cameras power wire and wire to the head unit and leave it like that over night.
