Anyone here supercharged AFTER 100k miles?
Any issues?
Did you have your car looked over before so?
...just general info I'm asking as I prepare my MM for the swap at 132k

I'll probably have mine checked out before the install. Runs fine so far and my Vortech is still on backorder with Dennis.

What's your mileage?

I put my Trilogy on just under 100k miles (metric odometer, 148 000kms), it worked fine. 3 years and 30k of daily driving / weekend drag racing later and it's undoing was a spark plug that got spat out in a parking lot, which can happen to non-boosted engines as well.
I wouldn't hurt to do a compression check or power balance check before proceeding with the install for peice of mind, but it's in no means necessary. Fresh plugs, oil and coolant was pretty much all I did.

I recc an oil and trans fluid analysis. Very inexpensive info and a base line.
By the time I get off my ass and install mine i will probably have 115,000 on the engine. But, you only live once, so who cares.

These would be the things I would start with. While doing the compression test you might as well perform a leak-down test as well while the plugs are out.

Heck, if you need a testomonial just look at billy gmans mm.
I think he even ran it with a 4:56 rear end. Not sure of the current mileage.
Its for sale somewhere around here.

I think Drewstang had it, and just recently sold it, IIRC.

I dunno with three bad coils at 63,000 I'd say do the coils too. You don't want to miss under boost. Very noticeable performance change too.
I'm doing all 8. Second bank at trilogy install.
Trilogy comes with appropriate (different) plugs BTW.
