Me too. My friends and I grew up taking our .22s and .38 revolvers to the sandpits and shooting all day with no protection. When we were old enough to graduate to more serious weapons, we realized we needed protection. I could shoot 9mm/.45/38/.40 pistols a few hours without protection and be fine. Then we bought our first .357mag revolvers and AR-type rifles. My first AR was chambered in 7.62X39.....it was like a 12g shotgun next to your face every time you fired.

I dont know how guys in actual combat keep their **** straight.
