Hello guys, I been meaning to post this on here for quite some time now. I have just been putting it on the back burner because i am busy with work and school. Pretty much i have a blown piston rod in my 03 MM. I know it will be cheaper to just swap the motor, what do you guys recommend. I have a Vortech super charger, so i am sure that will be a contributing factor. Tell me if you have experienced this what did you do. Also i think i read a while ago i could always swap motors with a 03-04 cobra mustang. All info is greatly appreciated. (I just bought a mac book and i'm not that good at working it, but you can view the mods i have in my garage, i am the first name on the very last page thanks for reading)

I've been eyeing that short block up myself.

That may not really be tough enough for a 500 RWHP build.
Same stuff but the BOSS 5.0 block should outlast the car

What are u looking to spend and what are your HP goals? Aluminator 10:1 or boss iron big bore or Stroker or bb stroker or something in between. lots of choices.

Honestly right now I'm just looking to get her back on the road. I just bought her Sept 8th, and barely had enough time to enjoy it. I'm not looking for anything crazy, but just something strong enough to handle my s/c.

Musclemerc turned me on to them as a option. I have a complete eaton conversion that I have gathered just waiting to get installed. I would like to try & save for that short block since my motor ahs 158,000 miles on the clock.
