Have not been on the site in quite a while, as I no longer have my former 03 MM, however I noticed that my local Ford Dealer has a Black 04 MM sitting on the lot. Went to take a look.

Did not open door, but I could see it had the black interior.
Paint looks great.
Did not look under the hood.
New tires, (correct tires) front and rear.

So,18k with 41500 on the odometer.
Seems to me 20,100 with 16900 miles is very reasonable for my Black ,light flint 03:D

Forgot to add:

Although I did not open door, which was locked, and did not look at engine compartment to make sure it was not modified, I did take a close look at the exaust tips, and yes, the car has the stock exaust tips and I assume mufflers.

If it was not black, I would consider buying it myself, however after having the black 03 (and many years ago, a black 73 GrandAm with the soft nose), there is no way I will ever buy a black car again. Spend more time keeping it clean, removing any small scuff marks, etc, than time driving it.

Depends on the market in that area and demand. It was concensus here a few years back that stock or mostly stock MMs would have the most value in the future.

Well, it is still sitting there, front row where they place their best used cars. Don't forget the price listed is just that, asking price.

BTW, I go downtown almost every morning for my morning mocha, and when I left for home, I saw a Black MM parked there, and the very first thing I noticed was that it had the larger tires (the 245/55's) also on the front. (Front and rear) Looked strange. Note that this was NOT the one at Prestige Ford.

If I have time tomorrow morning, (after my morning mocha at one of the local coffee shops), I may go to Prestige and ask to look at the engine and the interior.

Went back today, to take another look. Opened the doors to look inside. Interior is Black and clean. Leather looks in great condition.

Looked under the hood. Engine compartment looks great. It has a Motorcraft battery, and the engine looks all stock.

Lasty, I looked under the car from the rear. As I said before, it has the stock exaust tips, and it also has the entire stock exaust system. Mufflers are stock.

Don't know where this car was from, but it must be from a state that uses only one license plate, because the front of the car does not have a plate mount.

I told the salesperson that if it was Silver and not Black, I'd buy it myself, but like I said before, I learned my lesson about owning black cars. Never again.

Mia Culpa. Just came from the dealer (for another reason) and yes, the car is still there. Sitting in front row, but not out on the front grass as it was before.

Had a friend with me, so I had to show him what a Marauder looks like.
