Nothing firmed up just yet but thinking that I might get there for noon/lunch and stick around until ~5PM.

That's cool. Not trying to stick you to a time, just a general time frame. Between Noon and 5 works for me!
There's a very good chance I'll be able to get down there for a few hours on Friday.

Sorry mark. I'll claim stupidity on this 1. I actually never checked where Atco was. I thought it was down by Wall, off rt34. Boy was I wrong! I'm in Wall now realizing the track is an hour from where I am. By the time I get there, I'll have to leave. Sorry bro, I'll plan better next time.

It wasn't bad - for $10 I got to smell burning rubber and racing fuel for 4 hours and saw some pretty tasty runs:

706ci 69 Chevelle with crank mounted Procharger ran a 7.70 - Blew me away.

CLEAN 69 Cobra Jet Mustang in the 9's

Also had a jet car.

Good turnout.

Also, there was a guy with a 2010/11 Ford Flex with an EcoBoost and a Livernois tune that ran a, get this, 13.1.

It wasn't bad - for $10 I got to smell burning rubber and racing fuel for 4 hours and saw some pretty tasty runs:

Hi guys!!!

I'm the guy with the Ford Flex! Just wanted to stop by and point out that I didn't actually go 13.1... the best I managed at Atco was 13.611@100.68. Best so far with the Flex and the Livernois Stage 4+ tune is 13.41@101.99.

BTW.. with me in it the Flex weighs in at 5185! This EcoBoost is simply amazing!

Thanks! I am having an absolute BLAST at the track with the Flex! It's actually the wifes... I took it to the track on a whim, when we bought it back at the end of August... Darn thing went 14.2 100% stock! Couple weeks later added the Livernois tune and ended up going 13.4! I get so many comments in the pits after i run, it's hysterical! Nobody expects the Brick to run 13s! LOL! I am simply loving the EcoBoost!!! LOL

Atco is almost 2 hours for me. Thats why I wouldn't head down there unless it was a track rental or a huge event.

Welcome to the site and those Ecoboosts are VERY impressive. Im looking to get a Ecoboost Fusion when they come out and see what I can do with a 4cyl twin turbo. ;)
