Since Katrina I have had acid rain spots that I cannot get off. Brought the MM to a pro who also tried but was unsuccessful.

I am resigned that the only way is to wet sand and I don't want to lose any of the thin clear coat, so I am resigned to the spots..

The steps were acid bath, clay bar, polish w/ buffer, Dawn wash, clay bar, Zaino swirl remover, CS clear, Z5 Polish 2 coats and 2 more coats CS clear. Used Z6 & Z8 between coats as a detailer and gloss enhancer. Cleaned the plastic with Blue Magic and treated the rubber w/ Vynlex.

I had the same problem on mine, it even etched the windows. I bought a Porter Cable orbital polisher and three polishing compunds and three different grades of pad. It took me about a week to finish the paint and it looks almost new. It may have taken less time for others to do since I could only work on it for about an hour and then take a break. By the time I was finished my knees hurt for a week. It was worth it though.
