EVAP code

My mothers 2000 Mercury Sable 24v V6 started throwing a code "EVAP system - Small Leak". Can anyone tell me the way to pressurize the system to check for leak? Thank you! :)

There is a small hose near the back of the motor which leaks causing the evap to throw a code. I believe it rubs or cracks and has an elbow in it. I remember this from a friend who had the same trouble with a Taurus a year ago. So check all of the vac lines under the hood related to the evap circuit. Richy
