Amber air bag light stays on?

Hey fellas,

I am intermittently receiving an Air bag light only when cold out in the AM. I notice if parked in the garage no light; outside in the cold light consistently stays on. But heading home no light huh? Any ideas?

Could be a number of things you really need to retieve the codes before proceeding. Unfortunately most consumer grade scan tools don't access the SRS codes. I doubt the ones they use at the auto parts stores do either. So you pretty much are going to have to go to a shop to see what it is. It doesn't have to be a dealer most independents have professional grade tools that can access the SRS and other systems.
