So i received the other half of the Stainless Works exhaust system (part #: MAUEX )..I already have the headers with the cat back (part#: MAUCAT)...Who else has this setup? Wondering what will I expect from the system?...Modifying is fun, lol http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif

It will breathe easy for sure. The cat back system is kind of "loud" - It took me 14 hours to install the MAUCAT system. Very well made.
My Tips to you:
Soak the studs in PB Blaster first
Get the Stage 8 locking header bolts
Get the Lokar flexible dip stick
Get a new set of studs and nuts for the lower passenger side.
Make sure you tighten the EGR nut (lower all the way)
Good luck!

The headers are already in...That was the hard part of the install...This other half should go by quickly

Take your time with lining up the over axle pipes.

I missed that part - did you do any of my tips?
Post up some pictures, and how do you like the sound?

over the weekend, i went ahead and removed the old exhaust and installed the new one...Have to work some kinks out, and decided that it is best to drive the car over to a place and get the whole system welded in...there are leaks all over the place

So over the weekend, i was able to find a guy to weld in the whole system...The welds came out okay, not great.. He had a hard time connecting the front of the xpipe, the other pipe would not hold.
Another problem is the hanger that holds the exhaust, right after the muffler. It keeps popping out of the clamp, will need to weld an extra piece to the hanger...
As for the sound, it is LOUD...deciding if I want to stick with this setup or change the mufflers to something that is alittle quieter..
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Pics! SW systems are made to be installed with band clamps. You should not have had to weld anything.
Yes the SW Turbo mufflers are "loud" Try a Dynomax Super Turbo 25" long.
