Ur gas is 10% ethanol already. Was 5% simce yhe increase i noyiced about a 30 miles per tank reduction in mileage. Could be my right foot but doubtful. Did u mean octane booster cuz that makes more since

Put a bottle of Lucas Upper Cylinder Lube & Fuel Treatment in. Pick up 3 bottles and use them in the next 3 fuel ups. Always add the treatment first then fuel up that way it mixes better.

No problem.

This is the little bottles they sell, 2-3 back to back treatments are recommend.

OR

They also sell a deep cleaning fuel treatment (Could use 1 bottle a month for 2-3 months)
http://www.lucasoil.com/products/display_products.sd?iid=269&catid=8&loc=show&headTitle=%20-%20Lucas%20Oil%20Deep%20Clean% 20Fuel%20System%20Cleaner

Me personally I've used the small bottles between those and using seafoam in my gas when I pulled my lower intake manifold off my ports were almost spotless after 150k miles.

and as for the seafoam product how often do you use that?? red and white can correct??

Yes seafoam is in the old style red and white can. It's suppose to be used in 3 parts, 1/3 in through the intake, 1/3 in the oil and 1/3 in the gas tank. Whenever I used it I used a whole can in the gas tank on back to back fill-ups. Now seafoam will lower the octane rating of the gas ever so slightly where as the Lucas products will not.

Techron and Regane are very highly regarded over on BITOG. I've used both.

I've used Techron before too. The key is to do a couple applications back to back. Most people just use it once and never again.

Most FLAPS also sell the same thing in a quart size. That way you get 6 servings for the price of two. MUCH better deal.

Techron is more chemically active as it uses polyether amines (Like in the "Nitrogen enriched" Shell ads) Lucas is just pale oil, Seafoam is coleman camp fuel.

Techron will dislodge Carbon far more effectively that's what I use.

Some people like their sandwich a certain way, some like it just the same as others. To each their own.

Lucas recommends using it with every fill-up which is overkill and waste of money. I do 3 back to back treatments after an oil change.

If you go to the parts store just read the directions on the Lucas or Techron bottle but there isn't any need to run it 24/7. One bottle per gas tank fill-up. 3 back to back for Lucas or twice for the Techron.

On another note in regards to Ethanol (E-85) I will be swaping over to E-85 within the year due to thefact same price as 87 (ussually) and atleast 109-110 octane. There are finally enough service stations in my area that now have E-85. As for fuel treatment Lucas is by far the best product out there!
