Despite the arguments of "personal taste" and whatnot,

there really is a tangible level of unacceptable modification. This car falls under that.

If you wanted a panther to customize with a hot engine, buy a Marquis and build the engine, or in other words, IMPROVE the car. Don't buy a nice car and put crap stickers on it, or in other words, DEVALUE the car.

I added a new Cougar XR-7 G hood scoop(not tape installed, much too heavy...it is bolted as was required on the Cougars)

So there you go, a bolted on hideous hood scoop to complete the package.

Yeah, the security guard @ the Stop&Shop in Miller Place pulled up next to me while I was waiting for Mary to get out of the store. He was very enthusiastic about the car and asked if he could take some pictures so he could post them on Facebook.
He said "You're gonna be famous on the internet!"
Mary came out while all of this was going on just shaking her head!

They were talking about Chris's Marauder when one said, "Hey you ever see that one with the giant skull exhaust tips?" The other kid said "Yeah Chris should get a set of those!" I spent some time last night on cardomain looking at MMs. This one is mild compared to what I saw. Pretty sad.
This guy brags, "the hood scoop is bolted on just like it was on the Cougar". Uggh!

I have one of those hideous spoilers (was on the car when I bought it), but I don't trust anyone to remove it and fix the deck lick correctly (if it can even be repaired because those holes go straight through the supports on the underside) :bigcry:

I want to know where to get the hood scoop. I think if I installed that on my DTR, it would be easier to draw in Camaro's, Vette's, Chargers etc... and take their money.

But really, it looks out of place on that car as it is, maybe if it was on fire.:confused:
