Like it says, does anyone have the part number for the locking header bolts for our car...found a set from Jegs on Ebay for around 58 bucks, just not sure if there are different lengths for our car or what...Thanks---Russ

Use the same bolts for a 4.6L /5.4L Ford (8mm).

I used Stage 8 on mine, P/N: 8906

I use the stock studs with new nuts if possible, never had a problem with them. The studs will work with the Cobra R shortys.

Ok so no worry of the stock ones backing out then?

They will not back out, especially if you use new nuts as they are locking nuts. You can buy brand new studs and nuts at Advance auto right near the other exhaust hardware in packages of like 10. Reuse the stock gaskets too.

This post is rated E for everyone.

Loke justbob said, they won't go anywhere. I had some extra gaskets that I was going to throw in the box but I couldn't find them. They'll show up when I least expect them too.

Well then I will just use the stock hardware maybe get new nuts then. You say to re-use the stock gaskets?

Some have done reused them with success, others haven't been so lucky. I would replace them.

For as much work as it is to get headers off and back on I'd say do it right and use new gaskets the first time. Do it right once and never worry about it again.

I have these, I used them all except for the passenger lower, which is easier to use studs and nuts which I got new from Ford.
