Well my MM hit 77,777 on the odom the other day and I posted it asking if it was gonna be lucky for me......well.....my luck ran out and I blew a head gasket on the MM. Wonderful, just what I need right now. Went out the car to check the oil seperater and it was full of oil that looked like chocolate milk. Called my mechanic (my dad lol) and he said yup sounds like you blew a head gasket, get that oil out of it, fresh in it and a new filter in it and park it so you don't ruin the bearings in the motor.....It just keeps getting better and better.....:mad2:

wow man sorry. if the head is warped or crack a machine shop can do it for about 5 to 700 somewhere around that. but if you and ur dad can do the rest its not that bad as you think. i would not drive it at all like that

Did you pull the dip stick?

Were you romping on the car?

Well I wanted to park it for the winter but not on these terms! Guess I will have plenty of time to do my intake cam swap now...will proably get valve covers coated and possibly do the rear head cooling mod. This just sucks.

That sucks, br. I hate when someone I know and like has some shite like this happen. Also, it makes me wonder how my engine has lasted this long.

Oh man. That really sucks. Well. On the bright side. Like you said. Car is down and now it's time for a few mods along with some fixes.

Thanks guys...it would be nice to find a decent priced cobra termi motor and drop that in instead but I don't see that happenin...

Welcome to the club. Mine is sitting in the driveway with a bad drivers side head, saving for the fix, maybe next spring. At least there's no water in the oil, but low compression on #6. Possible valve seat separation after a bout of overheating.

Looking at $3-4 K and a road trip to a Marauder repair facility.

Yea mine is gonna be out for the winter now...will park it in my dads shop...luckily he can do all the work so that will save me labor costs but I may look for a cobra motor if cheap enough.

If I put a S/C cobra motor out of an 03 or 04 in my car no I have to have the cobra ECU or will the MM one work(tune needed obviously). What about wiring harness, starter alternator? Will the MM ones work? Thanks.

Must admit I never looked into what exactly it is or does... But could this just have something to do with the cooling lines that enter the upper intake? Or how about the oil filter adapter that leaks on almost all MM's, that has coolant running thru it as well. I would get that oil changed out quick, if not already to late.

This post is rated E for everyone.

Well I decided to not be lazy today and pull the dipstick like you said and the engine oil is fine...just the oil seperator was chocolate in color. Dad said that condensation must have gotten in the seperator...PPHHEEEEWWWWWWW crisis averted thank god...

Dear Bacon nips,
Go do a 2 minute burnout and get all the moisture out of the engine.
Love,
Dad

Glad to hear it was something stupid! Now seal off that seperator.

I got condensation in my oil separators as well, it has to do with the weather and the car not getting warmed up.
