would exhaust shops do this? i went to this exhaust shop and told them i wanted my "resonators taken off just so they wouldnt look at me weird if i said i wanted cats deleted..they said sure since i called them resonators

i scheduled it for next saturday so im hoping they wont notice that they are actually cats and just remove them ;)

They don't want to remove the cats because it's against federal law for them to do that.
Also, I doubt they're stupid. They probably know the difference between resonators and cats.

I went through my performance shop. Had no issues atl all. I guess it just depends on who you get that day

Had my 2nd set set of cats removed immediately!

Shop had no problem with doing it.

quite frankly if they didn't no the difference between converters and resonators i don't think i'd want them going any where near my car.

The mechanic at my inspection station told me that most don't know that there are 4 cats in a Panther. And he did say Panther.
That is why I go to him and he ignores my missing rear felines:banana2:
As longs as it isn' t toooo loud,he won't look too deep.
