Im looking to get new tires and i have been researching on this site as well as google and cant seem to find a good match. I like the way the 235/50 up front and 255/55 in the rear look. I have stock rims and I do not want to mess up the traction control or the ABS. What brands/sizes do you recommend best?

I have Nitto 555's up front in stock size.
Just ordered Nitto 555's for the rear. 265/50/18. The difference in stock tire and this is like .2 inches or something miniscule like that, in short, no affect on traction control.
It is technically rated for summer only, but I have driven on them in the rain with no issues.

Tires won't do anything to the ABS system.
Your rear tires need to be at least 3% bigger in diameter than the front tires or the traction control will complain.

My abs disengaged along with traction control with a 275. Thats why I took them off and went to the 255. I was outside the 3%. My dash lit up like a christmas tree. Atleast thats what shop told me. Said my options to avoid it where a 265/50/ or a 255/55

Cooper Zeon RS3 is an option. I just had 4 installed today. I also wanted factory size for traction control and ABS reasons, as well as looks. I ordered them online, after tire van didn't have the rears. I wound up ordering from Summit (don't laugh). The rears were supposed to be on backorder, but I got them before the fronts...go figure. It's too early to form an opinion, but others have installed them. Try searching here for the reviews.

So....ive been doing alot of research and im stuck, the falken ziex-912 with 255/55 in the rear and 235/50 in the front. The only place local I can find was charging $810.00 and thats out of my budget. I like the Nitto 555 and the 420s but i cant seem to find matching pairs anywhere. Does anybody have any suggestions for me or know of any cheap local shops in South Florida area? Thanks for all your answers so far.

Some of us don't have matching front and rears. I have General 255/45-18 up front and Nitto 555 265/50-18 on the rear.
I did have 235/50-18 stock bfg kdws tires up front and 255/55-18 bfg kdw2 (old pattern and size) and no problems. The 265/50-18 is about as close to the stock size diameter (245/55-18) as any tire can get so you won't have any issues with the traction control.

I've been running 235/50/18 or 255/45/18 with 255/55/18 rear for years. No problems.
