Stock tune after supercharger install?

I getting close to the point were I need to start my car after the eaton swap. Will the vehicle start on the stock tune? If it does will I hurt anything letting it Idle? I want to burp the cooling system, check for leaks, pulley alignment and anything else I might have screwed up.

The tuner said he would provide a tune so I can drive to his shop but that has not happen yet and I'm getting antsy. Thanks

If you replaced injectors, maf or fuel pump it may not run at all

She'll start and run fine. I've even driven them short distances on the stock tune. Keep in mind, anything over 1/8 throttle, or over 40 MPH, or even above 2000 RPM's you will more than likely start to hear detonation. What year is it? I may have a start up tune on file.

this may be completely off the mark with an eaton swapped 4v (or terminator motor), but with the factory eaton s/c Lightning and Harley trucks (5.4L 2v) you could take the blower belt off and run the truck just fine (within reason) . Only thing is the blower really isn't spinning and you are not getting much air into the engine. This is potential option if you are just driving it to the shop to get tuned.

I did this for a week, plus swapped back the stock injectors and MAF to pass emissions. The car was a DOG! Way slower than stock.

That's the opposite of what he's doing. The Lightning MAF and PCM know the injector data and MAF counts allready, you're just pulling less air through the system. If he pulls more air than the pcm knows what to do with on that mm, BOOM! ;)

No kidding? Huh, yeah I ran Guspechs for a half hour or so to fill the system, then took it for a VERY carefull drive at like midnight. I think we also installed a lightning MAF with his 39#er's. Our only issue was loading up with fuel just a tad if left idling too long. Of course, we always had an evil eye on the AFR.

Thanks for the help. I talked to my tuner today and he said he would provide a start up tune tomorrow. Probably should have done that before I posted. It sounds like if I need to start the vehicle tonight and it does start I'll be ok as long as I just let it idle.
