Overhead Consoles

I have been watching a couple of MM overhead consoles for sale on eBay. The 2 latest listings are quite different (one even had a sunglasses holder!) and both are different from the one in my car. Anyone know how many different variants there are? I was only aware of the "standard" and sunroof controls versions. Could these be another 300a / 300b variant?

As far as i know, there are only two styles and you've mentioned them already.

There are only 2 types of factory overhead consoles for the MM.

1 - Long console on 2003 Marauders because there was not a moon roof option in 2003.

2 - Short console on all 2004 Marauders because there was an option for a moon roof.

Any other MM overhead console would be aftermarket and or OEM consoles that are butchered up.

If you post links I'll tell you what they are.

Yes.

These will also work...... Would have to paint them and you might have an extra button, but they will work.

If any parts from 2003 were left over they were stuck on the 2004's.

That's why there was no exact cutoff from 2003 to 2004.

If your 2004 wasn't getting a factory moonroof they stuck a leftover / 2003 over head console in yours.

The 04 console fastblackmerc listed on eBay has the moonroof option. My car doesn't have the moonroof, so my overhead looks a little different (plainer). Maybe there are 4 versions: 03 w and w/o moonroof and 04 w or w/o moonroof...

I still like the sunglasses holder (I assume that is what the fold down door is for) in the 03 listing!

Yeah one of the photos he has is short with the rear park assist, but it has the "southwest" spelled out. Its listed for Lincoln.

Looking for one just like this...no park assist and no moon roof.

There are 4 overhead consoles:

2003 long with sunglasses storage

2003 short, really a modified long console for use with an aftermarket/dealer installed moonroof

2004 short console with moonroof controls

2004 short console without moonroof controls

The only reason I know is bc I have all 4, I just bought the 04 short with moonroof controls to replace my modified console and my other MMs have the other 2.... And probably to get techincal there are color variants of each style so possibly 8 combinations

It probably does, I guess I shouldn't have put the years or listed that as 2003-early 2004, but still 4 different designs

My 2003 was a long one, shortened for sunroof. It's ok but the light switches are really hard to locate at night.
