I found a good deal on craigslist for a set of 4 235/50zr18 tires. Can I run this size all around with the traction control off?

Yes but you will have to turn traction control off Every Time before driving the car after turning it on OR do a manual bypass setup. You speedometer will read slightly more mph because the tire is small then what it's programmed to and it add some more mileage on the ODO as well.
